Welcome, if you are reading this then by God I feel sorry for you, seriously, go get a job, or a hobbie, or a life...or, or- something!
So, as Michael Shanks put it, and I greatfully stole, come take a walk with me down amnesia lane and enjoy my fruitless escapades on the endlessly unfulfilling journey that is my life.
Okay, so Shanks only mentioned the lane part, but hey, some of my blog at least has to be original!
So I am relatively new to the grand city of Wellington.
Nearly three months here and what can I say, I'm a lover not a hater and I love this damn city. However, it is common knowledge that a relationship is given two years, if the trials and tribulations are successfully over come after this time period, then it is safe to say that the relationship will last... at least a few more years...
So, while I am still in my honeymoon period of loving this fair city, I have a few points to make.
Point Number One: All the young people, and by young I basically mean my age, either have no licence and/or no car! Thats all very well and good if you are happy to walk or rely on public transport, and hey its cheaper by far I do not doubt that. But surely at some stage you have to get to a point where you think, shit I wish I had a car so I could drive to Taranaki this afternoon for a damn fine Anderson's Pie. Or, damn I wish I had my licence so I could legally drive that dream car I so desperately want.
Point Number Two: DEAR GOD THERE ARE SOME ATTRACTIVE GUYS IN THIS CITY! Okay, so while I was living in a small town with guys I grew up with and knew every little deep dark secret of them all (as is small town mentality) and have had my eyes sharply opened, I still am seriously astounded at the share amount of eye-candy there truly is.
Point Number Three: Someone please inform me on who nicknamed this rather calm city the Windy City? But as I said, I have only been here three months and am yet to be proven wrong.
So there it is, the opening blog, not much I know but just some small pointers I wanted to get off my chest and spill them to the fans I can only ever imagine I will one day have- tribute to the obsessive Sci Fi fans- you guys rock!!
