Rest Peacefully Mr. Davis
Through surfing the net earlier I found out that a greatly loved member of the stargate family passed away on Sunday of a massive heart attack, Don S. Davis, who was 65.
I met this hugely proud and passionate man at last years Armageddon Expo in Wellington, to which he headed my collection of photos and autographs with as many people involved with Stargate I can get.
He spoke on stage passionately of his time with Stargate, his friends/workmates and family, his country, beliefs and of course his art. He also mentioned his health and his scares he had had. Sadly it was obviously ongoing.
The world will miss you "General Hammond" and that heavy accent of yours.
Thankyou for your "beautiful" comments to me and my brother apon meeting you. My parents loved theirs as well.
A true Stargate Original, will be dearly missed and never replaced.
